Our School Zone
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria. This website is updated by the Department of Education at the end of Term 1 every year. Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.
Riverwalk Primary School is a Victorian Government Supported Inclusion School. A Supported Inclusion School is a Government Primary School that can support more students with a disability than typical schools. Supported inclusion schools prioritise the learning and support needs of all students, including students who are eligible to attend a specialist school.

Foundation Enrolments
The Department of Education (DoE) has a state-wide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.
The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian Government Primary School, including Riverwalk Primary School. You can find information and resources about the enrolment timeline and procedures at: Enrolling in Foundation (Prep)
If your child is starting Foundation (Prep) in 2027, you will be able to apply to enrol your child in a Victorian Government Primary School from the start of Term 2, 2026 (Monday, 20th April 2026).
Enrolment enquiries for Foundation (Prep) 2027 will only be accepted from 20th April 2026. Enquiries received prior to this date will not be considered.
Enrolment applications are due by 31st July 2026. Parents/carers must submit their completed application form by this date.

Provide contact details to our Enrolment Officer so they can provide you with an electronic Enrolment Form
Step #2
Our Enrolment Officer will confirm your child’s enrolment with a letter of offer
Step #3
We will liaise with families to support a transition plan based on individual needs.
Step #4
Start date and transition plan enacted.

Children and parents/carers are most welcome to attend.
