At Riverwalk Primary School, we believe that regular school attendance is essential for every student’s learning, wellbeing and success. Every day of learning matters. Even small amounts of absence can add up over time, making it harder for students to keep up with classroom learning, establish positive routines and fully participate in school life. Regular attendance supports academic achievement, social development and emotional wellbeing, helping students develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive.
We understand that there may be times when students are unable to attend school due to illness or other circumstances. When attendance concerns arise, we work in partnership with families to understand any barriers and provide support where needed.
