At Riverwalk Primary School, we recognise the value of a strong and vibrant Arts program. Students will develop their knowledge, appreciation and enjoyment for The Arts, with specialist classes in Performing Arts, Visual Arts and opportunities for them to engage in Choir and Instrumental Music lessons.
During Visual Art sessions, students develop a strong base of fine motor skills before progressing to complex artistic techniques across each medium. Students will investigate many forms of Visual Arts ranging from 2D based activities exploring drawing and painting techniques, promoting them to express themselves and communicate via their art.
Dance, Drama and Music are integrated throughout our Performing Art session, providing students with opportunities with challenges and simulation to express themselves creatively and build self-confidence and resilience.
