Dear Parents/Carers,
Welcome to Week 9! We cannot believe how fast the term has gone, we are officially half way through year 2.
All Learning Group teachers have been extremely impressed with the growth and progress students have shown this semester. It has been wonderful to see their confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning continue to develop. We are excited to see what the second half of the year has in store for our Year 2 learners.
This term, we have enjoyed many valuable learning experiences. As our swimming program concludes this week, our student swimmers have developed their skills in the water while consistently making us proud through the way they demonstrated our school values on both the bus and at the pool. Students who remained at school have also engaged in important learning about water safety and its role in keeping themselves and others safe.
In English our students have been working hard at perfecting the routines of our new phonics program and are all showing increased engagement and using the sounds taught to them in their writing.
As always, please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
We wish all families a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable holiday break and look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting term of learning in Term 3.
