Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to Week 9! We are here at the final stretch of the term as we make our way to the middle of the year. Students have been growing and developing in their learning engage in a range of different topics near the end of this term and of course looking forward to their camp next week!!
Students have been continuing the use of their mini white boards in lessons allowing them to share their ideas and thinking throughout the learning lesson. It has been a great way for students to showcase their learning and collaborate with other students to share their thoughts and ideas on the learning. Students have been engaging in different projects from creating data on waste in the schools, to how they measure and calculate different mass, length and volume.
We are very excited for our upcoming school camp! In the coming weeks, we will be holding a camp meeting with our attending Grade 4 students to go through important information, including camp activities, what to bring and camp expectations. Following this meeting, families will receive further communication, including a packing list to help everyone feel prepared and excited for the experience ahead. Teachers will also go through with students these packing lists and expectations with all students in the lead up this week to camp.
