Dear Parents/Carers,
A Busy End to the Term…
It is hard to believe that we are already nearing the end of another busy and successful term. There has been plenty happening across the school, and it has been wonderful to see students continuing to demonstrate our school values through their learning, teamwork and perseverance.
A huge congratulations to all students who participated in the Winter Gala Sports Day in Week 8. Our students represented Riverwalk Primary School with pride, displaying excellent sportsmanship, teamwork and determination throughout the day. We are incredibly proud of the way they supported one another and embraced the opportunity to compete against other schools from across the region. A special shout-out to our Girls Basketball team, Hockey team and Teeball team on their success. We wish them the very best as they progress to the Division Finals next term.
Our Student Leadership Team has done a fantastic job organising and leading house spirit activities across the school. It has been wonderful to see students from different year levels coming together, showing enthusiasm for their houses and building a strong sense of community.
Student reports will be released shortly. We encourage families to take the time to read through the report with their child, celebrating their achievements and discussing areas for future growth. These conversations can be a valuable way to acknowledge progress and set goals for the semester ahead.
As we head towards the holiday break, we would like to thank our students, staff and families for their ongoing support throughout the term. We hope everyone enjoys a well-earned rest, spends quality time with family and friends, and returns refreshed and ready for another exciting term of learning.
